The Eastern Cricket Association, managed by their President conducts a Christmas Challenge Cup Match between the Melbourne Deaf Cricket Club (MDCC) & Kew Cricket Club annually. This years match was conducted on Kew’s home ground. After winning the toss and electing to bat, Kew posted a total of 7/179 of 36 overs. Our man, Tony Barulovski, starred with the ball, for the MDCC taking 2/8 of 6 overs!
The MDCC’s run chase was emphatic, with man of the match Ken Larcombe scoring 41 to lead the MDCC to victory. The MDCC replied with 3/182 of only 28 overs.
